“Take Me Home” by Moon and Aries

Jordana Moon is a Western Canadian singer-songwriter whose music is a harmonious homage to consciousness and empowerment. Jordana studied creative writing at Vancouver Film School. Her inspiration draws from a variety of genres and artists, from jazz, trip-hop, and neo-soul to artists like Joni Mitchell, Lauryn Hill, the Bee Gees, Portishead, and Massive Attack. Meanwhile, Tom Aries, a West German electronic synthesizer player, translates his classical piano training into mesmerizing synth sequences. Having made his mark in the world of computer game music and film soundtracks, Aries now directs his creativity toward the duo’s offerings, attributing inspiration to Depeche Mode, Kraftwerk, ABBA, Portishead, Röyksopp, and the classic sounds of the 1980s.

The duo’s journey into the music industry began on March 1, 2021. The two artists, separated by the Atlantic and a massive nine-hour time difference, found a common rhythm and worked harmoniously through file sharing and virtual collaboration. Despite the geographical divide—Moon resides in Canada and Aries in Germany—they have managed to create a global impact. Their discography has been played on countless radio stations in Australia, Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Americas.

Finding your way doesn’t mean always knowing where you’re going. The important thing is that you know how to find your way HOME… “TAKE ME HOME” feels nostalgic and familiar at its core, as the soundscape and lyrics remind you that our greatest quest is to uncover our true selves and discover where we belong. Home is where you feel most comfortable and most inspired, and once you get there, you’ll never want to leave.

The fruitful collaboration between MOON and ARIES has seen them progressively push boundaries. 2022 marked their foray onto the platform with “The Arrival,” a nine-track concept album. Followed by another nine-song concept album, “Break the Matrix,” in 2023. And 2024? “TRANSCENDENCE”: a track album with 12 songs for each month of a year (Release: September 6, 2024). Incidentally, their song “FIRE NIGHT” reached the top of the official DJ pool charts in the US. “THE ARRIVAL” is their most successful song on Spotify with over 1 million streams.

They’re here to raise awareness with their addictively catchy tracks. They bring to life an intriguing universe rich in a unique fusion of electronica, cinematic electropop, deep house, trip-hop, pop, and R&B/soul.
