Formed in Würzburg, Germany, Coma Beach has always balanced the rebellious spirit of punk with the brooding depth of alternative rock. Fronted by vocalist B. Kafka, alongside Captain A. Fear (guitar), M. Lecter (drums), U. Terror (bass), and M. Blunt (rhythm guitar), the band draws inspiration from the raw energy of the Sex Pistols, the melancholic aura of Joy Division, and the literary bleakness of Samuel Beckett and Arthur Schopenhauer.
